Doom 3 – Not Windows98 Compatible News

PC gamers using Windows98 won’t be able to play Doom 3…
Activision today confirmed that Windows98 will not run Doom 3, only Windows 2000 and XP. Along with this, Activision are working on the game for it to be compatible with MAC computers and the Linux OS. Todd Hollenshead said, "Linux binaries will be available very soon after the PC game hits store shelves."
Doom 3 is scheduled for an imminent release in the week commencing August 2nd; weâll have much more soon.
