The period immediately after Christmas is normally a bit of a quiet time where we in TVG Towers can sit down, re-evaluate the previous 12 months and look towards the future. New Years 2005 however, has not been like that at all, and we find ourselves busy as ever in preparation for all of the games that are soon to be heading our way in the next couple of months – not to mention the EU releases of the DS and PSP.

So you can understand it (hopefully) when we hold up our hands and say, “Sorry, but we were a bit slow on this one…!”

Doom 3 for the Xbox is set to be released in both a Standard and Limited Edition form, with the LE version including the full games, Doom II and Ultimate Doom, featurettes, and the like. There were rumours that the Xbox version would include the ‘Resurrection of Evil’ expansion pack, but for the moment there has been no confirmation either way.

The two bonus games are reason enough for gamers to fork out the extra amount of cash, as the equivalent would have been Bungie releasing the Marathon trilogy on the LE of Halo 2, and the extra bonuses in the set are sure to satisfy Doom fans everywhere.
