Nintendo confirm that Namco are currently developing a music title based on the big ape...
Nintendo today confirmed rumours regarding the âDonkey Kongâ title currently in development at Namco, announcing that âDonkey Kongaâ is indeed a rhythm/action title and will make use of a new peripheral.
Specific details on the title are scarce, however itâs believed the game will be ready for a Spring 2004 release in Japan and that the game would use a new controller currently dubbed the âNintendo GameCube Conga Drumâ.
Obviously Miyamotoâs love of âSamba de Amigoâ has got the better of him, letâs just hope Namco, who arenât noted for their titles in this genre, do the franchise justice.
