Internet reports suggest the next DK game won't be what we were expecting...
In what has to be some of the most disappointing news of the year, US reports today allege that the new Donkey Kong game currently in development at Namco will be a rhythm/action title.
Itâs believed that the title is named âDonkey Kongaâ and will see players banging Congo drums presumably to the DK rap. Unfortunately no other information was available, leaving us to question whether Nintendo plan on releasing some ill-fated peripheral with the title.
Whilst we love our music titles and certainly would appreciate more monkey music mayhem after the delights of âSamba De Amigoâ, we canât help but feel a tinge of frustration, hoping instead for a luscious platformer with heavy supervision from Miyamoto-san.
Nothing has been officially confirmed at this point so for now weâll quite happily sit on the fence, if anything else materialises weâll bring it straight to you.
