Three years after the events of Final Fantasy VII, an unknown group of seemingly unstoppable soldiers appears, bringing a swift and bitter end to the peace enjoyed by the people of the world. The members of this enigmatic group are the ones who were trapped under the ruins of Midgar for three long years - the Deepground soldiers. Vincent Valentine finds himself pursued by several elite members of the mysterious Deepground organization.

Square-Enix confirms that the Final Fantasy action title will be coming to PAL territories in November 2006...


Square-Enix has today announced that Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII will be released in PAL territories during November 2006. The game, to be released on PlayStation2, sees players follow the story of Vincent Valentine on his fight against an organisation known as "Deepground".

The company has confirmed that several changes have been made to the PAL version of the game since it was originally released in Japan, including a boost of speed for Valentine, improved aiming, and a Rush Dodge move that replaces the Dive-Roll move.

The multiplayer mode of the Japanese version (which required a PS2 harddrive) has been dropped in favour of 40 'special missions' - hopefully these aren't special in the Ralph Wiggum sense either.

I've been using is it with a Motion Sensing Controller that I bought on Ebay, and the feel is great on the turms, look on Ebay for NEW SIXAXIS Wireless Controller for the PLAYSTATION 2
