Reports suggest that Capcom`s ultra stylish franchise is to remain a PS2 exclusive...
Reports today suggest that Capcom`s stylish Devil May Cry franchise is to remain a Playstation2 exclusive. The talk today is that Devil May Cry 2, despite not yet being officiall announced, will remain on the PS2 shunning both the GameCube and Xbox.
If true this will indeed be a feather in Sony`s cap, as the original won critical and commercial success right across the globe. It also highlights Capcom`s different approach to many other publishers, having already made the Resident Evil franchise a Nintendo exclusive, it appears that the Japanese company is shunning the multi-platform route taken by many publishers.
Of course Capcom is staying tight-lipped on the subject, simply stating that Devil May Cry 2 has yet to be officially announced. We`ll have more information if and when it becomes available.
