The series that kick-started the PSOne returns to showcase online gaming on the Playstation2…
SCEE recently unveiled the forthcoming Destruction Derby Arena to the world; the latest title in the popular racing series and a spearhead for the PS2 European online plans.
PSOne fans will fondly remember the first couple of Destruction Derby games, sharing a similar position to Wipeout in gaining the new machine from Sony some credibility. Unfortunately further titles in the series missed the essence that propelled the series to success, as development duties changed from the series originator Reflections.
Destruction Derby Arena is built around the online network and will be a big title in SCEEās push to get the installed user base increased; weāre hoping that whoever is developing the new title will be able to capture the sheer fun factor of the first two titles.
