Is the movie industry really so desperate to sign up videogame after videogame???
Following the recent trend of snapping up the movie rights to every popular videogame in existence, Impact Pictures today confirmed that it has purchased the rights to produce a movie on⦠Dead or Alive!
The story focuses on four of the female combatants from the game who are involved in a fighting tournament taking place on a luxurious tropical island; unusually this wonât be handled by the normal moustachioed porn director, but none other then J.F. Lawton â“ better known for his work on âPretty Womanâ and âUnder Siegeââ¦
With the wide selection of videogame movies in production and those currently in the pre-production stages, itâs certainly looking that cinema goers will have a tough time if they donât like videogames for the next few years.
