Atari confirms online multiplayer for the Wii version and Disc Fusion System for PS2...


Dragon Ball Z fans will be able to battle it out against one another later in the year, with confirmation that the Wii version of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 will support online multiplayer modes.

Neither Atari or Namco-Bandai have provided any precise details on what to expect or what technology the game will utilise, though the fact that one more game is offering online Wii play can only be a good thing.

In addition, the PlayStation2 version will feature a 'Disc Fusion System', allowing players to unlock additional modes and features when either Budokai Tenkaichi 1 or Budokai Tenkaichi 2 is played on the PS2.

"Atari is incredibly excited to provide online game play for the Wii and a special 'Disc Fusion System' for the PlayStation 2 system version of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3," said Emily Anadu, Senior Product Manager, Atari, Inc. "Adding online game play for the Wii will finally deliver on a feature that the fans have been waiting for while the 'Disc Fusion System' on the PlayStation 2 system rewards those fans that have supported us since the beginning of the Budokai Tenkaichi series.

It would be so awesome if you could create your own custom character,and choose between a girl or boy gender.And even be able to play through all the story modes with them,and determine what moves they should have.

there should be create a character mode when u can create your own character and pick his/her transformations, name, and name for transformations and pick their moves, or can fuse with with another created character to make a super warrior. And choos... [ Read full comment... ]
