Capcom delay the release of the Xbox Live! 2D beat-em-up, Capcom Vs SNK 2: EO…
Capcom today delayed the release of Capcom Vs SNK 2: EO on the Xbox until January. Previously expected before Christmas, the 2D beat-em-up is scheduled to be the first of its kind to feature on Xbox Live!, however the subsequent delay is expected to push the European release back from its intended March release.
For those not particularly in the know; Capcom Vs SNK 2: EO marked a disastrous attempt by Capcom to restore some faith back in to the 2D genre; allowing players to easily pull off special moves by simply pressing different directions on the other analogue stick, this was considered to be sacrilegious by the fans who have stuck behind Capcom throughout the years. Still the promise of online play should be interesting and itâs not like you have to use the daft system.
