Pandemic confirms the expansion of its Brisbane studios, home of Destroy All Humans!...
Pandemic Studios has today confirmed the expansion of its operations in Brisbane, Australia, with the creation of a second development team. The studio has been behind the Furon invasion of Earth in recent years by helming the Destroy All Humans! series on Xbox and PlayStation2, and is working on unknown title "Project B" at the moment.
"Pandemic's Brisbane studio has enjoyed great success with the Destroy All Humans! series and we are excited to build on our tremendous base of Australian talent with the addition of a second team," said Josh Resnick, president of Pandemic Studios. "With the release of Destroy All Humans! 2, our Brisbane studio is now turning its attention to the development of brand new titles for next-generation gaming systems."
"The Brisbane studio had a blast creating Destroy All Humans! 2 and we're looking forward to delivering the same unique Pandemic flavor to our fans in future games," said John Passfield, creative director on Destroy All Humans! 2. "Giving fans the freedom to play the game their way is what we do best. The only limits to game-play are the gamers' imagination."
Four other titles are currently in development at Pandemic (including two additional secret titles), so there's plenty yet to come from this half of Bioware/Pandemic Studios.
We'll have more on Pandemic's plans in the future...
