Ignition Entertainment confirms Crayola Treasure Adventures for Nintendo's handheld in early 2008...
UK-based publisher Ignition Entertainment has today confirmed the development of Crayola Treasure Adventures, arriving across Europe for Nintendo DS during the first quarter of 2008.
Using the stylus as a palette of over 120 different Crayola colours, Crayola Treasure Adventures will see younger gamers explore exotic locations as they 'Restore colour to the world'. Naturally, the game will also include images to colour in, together with a selection of mini-games.
"Crayola crayons has always been synonymous with creativity and fun, and have been part of everybody's childhood" said Peter Rollinson, Product Manager, Ignition Entertainment "The Nintendo DS is the perfect platform for creativity on the go."
"We're very excited to partner with Ignition Entertainment and Crave Entertainment on this new videogame project," said Chuck Linden, managing director, Crayola Europe. "Crayola Treasure Adventures allows kids to be creative and adventurous through color and fun in a thought-provoking, developmental setting ~ that is what our brand is all about."
Certainly a big brand for children (along with a certain building block company) and one that we at TVG fondly remember, hopefully Crayola's jump onto DS will follow a similar creative line to THQ's Drawn to Life, released earlier in the Autumn.
