UK publisher 505 Games has today confirmed that it will be launching Cooking Mama for Nintendo DS on December 8th.

Through the course of the game, players will learn to cook a variety of dishes under the eagle-eyed scrutiny of the Cooking Mama, and use the DS stylus to do everything from mash, peel, and chop ingredients. Garnishing can also be added to the plate, and players will be able to cool down hot dishes by blowing on the DS' built-in microphone.

Besides the main mode, over two hundred mini-games are included with Cooking Mama, together with the ability to share recipes over shared link with up to three other players.

505 Games also confirmed the development of Cooking Mama: Cooking With International Friends for Nintendo Wii, with a release date sometime in 2007.
