Fabulous new screens from the Xbox adaptation of an N64 classic...
New images from Conkers: Live and Reloaded today continued to wet our appetite and fuel Rareâs reputation as fur-shading specialists.
Weâve also garnished some more details on what shape the multiplayer mode will form, with the epic clash between the Squirrels and the Tediz. Two modes will be available for players to choose from, namely Old War and Future War, with the vehicles and weapons on offer reflecting the timeline that you choose.
Players can choose from six playable character classes:
- Demolisher â“ massive assault weapons.
- Sneekers â“ Stealth kills, cheating.
- Skyjockeys â“ King of the skies and able to launch bombardments upon the enemy.
- Thermophiles - ???
- Long-Rangers - Snipers
- Grunts â“ Bog standard military men.
In addition we currently know of five vehicles set to feature within the game:
- Sky Steed
- Mule Bomber
- R-Hog
- Toad Jeep
- Tankus
As players fight through the multiplayer mode theyâll gain awards and medals, which in turn can be used to unlock new maps, characters and content; whilst weâre also informed that players will be able to pretend that theyâre dead to confuse your opponent.
As you can see the game is coming on in leaps and bounds with regards to the visuals, with one particular screenshot depicting the infamous âprune juiceâ gag from the single-player mission.
Conkers: Live and Reloaded is scheduled for release in March; weâll have more information soon.
