Massive surge in sales as the UK developer/publisher is rated one of the fastest growing videogame companies in the US...
Following in the footsteps of The Beatles and U2, Codemasters has today confirmed that they've cracked North America, recording an increase in net sales of 151%, and a 332% increase in dollar sales during the twelve month period ending June 30th.
Driven by titles including Colin McRae DiRT and Overlord, the UK developer/publisher secured a five-fold increase in operating profits compared to the previous year. The company's performance was also helped by the signing of a December 2006 distribution agreement with Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.
"The company has never been in a better position to innovate and grow. Codemasters has the right team and the right technology to compete on a global scale in the interactive entertainment industry. Our results demonstrate that Codemasters is firing on all cylinders."
