Codemasters announce the development of a new MMO as the anniversary of Dragon Empires' cancellation approaches...
As we rapidly approach the first anniversary of Codemastersâ cancellation of MMORPG Dragon Empires, the UK publisher has announced via newsletter the development of a new MMO title, RF Online. Described as a mix of fantasy and sci-fi, RF Online, players will be able to play as one of three races: the Cora (an elf-like race), the Bellato (masters of engineering to the extent that they can travel in Mechs), or the Accretians (a race of robots hell-bent on destruction.)
At this stage Codies arenât letting too much information of the game leak, but the newsletter promises ârealm versus realmâ battles so look forward to massive conflict in the title, which is yet to receive a release period (or year for that matter.)
