Confirming that it will not take a stand at the forthcoming E3 event (along with a similar UK publisher currently going through acquisition talks), Codemasters however today confirmed that David Darling Chairman and CEO, has a “multi-million dollar war-chest” for further acquisitions at the forthcoming event.

The announcement comes on top of Codemasters recent substantial investment from Benchmark Capital Europe, a top-tier venture capital firm that acquired 40% of the UK developer/publisher as a result.

To lead the programme, Darling has appointed Peter Zetterberg as Head of Acquisitions; with a career in the industry spanning across the last 12 years, Zetterberg previously headed Daydream Software as CEO and was the founder of developer UDS.
