Codemasters confirm two new additions to the Club Football series...

Codemasters today confirmed that it has signed Real Madrid and Celtic Rangers to its forthcoming Club Football series. The UK publisher also confirmed that the series will be heading to the Xbox, and that both versions have been held until the new season to ensure team data is as correct as possible.

The Club Football series is a range of games each specialising on one particular club, ensuring that football fans get everything they want on their favourite club. The game is a football simulation along similar lines to Pro Evo and FIFA; it appears that some people have confused them with management simulations, so for once and all this is an arcade footie game not a management one!!!

Says Mike Hayes, Codemasters' Group Marketing Director:
"To have both Real Madrid and Celtic editions as part of the line-up makes the range complete and the extra development time will ensure a great football gaming experience for the fans of each club."
