Codemasters Confirm Operation Flashpoint 2 News

Codemasters makes everybody's year by confirming a true sequel to the highly acclaimed war simulator.


Codemasters today confirmed the development of Operation Flashpoint 2 ā“ a true sequel to the multi-million selling war simulator.

The UK publisher is holding all key details regarding the settings and theme of the game secret until E3, where itās expected to form part of the largest E3 presence in Codemasters history; however we do know that a round release of late 2004 has been pencilled in.

Studio says:

"We have great plans and massive ambition for Operation Flashpoint 2 but, for the moment, we are not revealing specific details of its content and gameplay. Following the success of the original game, it's great to be working with Codemasters on the sequel and we are confident it'll become another major landmark in PC gaming."
