Number four heading our way with new game modes and enhanced visuals...
Codemasters today confirmed that Colin McRae 4 is currently in development for the Playstation2 and Xbox. Scheduled for release in November, weâre expecting to learn more about the title at the forthcoming E3 event.
So what do we know now? Well Codemasters are promising a range of new game modes, including a unique car-part testing challenge to win advanced technology for your car; ok so it may not be too realistic, but it certainly sounds interesting.
Codemasters are promising enhancements to the stunning visual engine which powered Colin McRae 3, in particular with regards to the replay system which letâs admit it was one of the few faults with the last title.
"Colin McRae Rally 04 is all about great rally gaming, building on our technology, the team's superb craftsmanship in creating dramatic rally stages and their expertise in simulating spot-on car handling. We owe the series' fans a huge thanks for keeping McRae the dominant force in the genre and we intend to reinforce that position with the new game."
