Codemasters Announce Add-On Pack For Operation Flashpoint News

Fight on the soviet side as codemasters turn the tables for its epic war sim.
Codemasters today announced details for Operation Flashpoint: Red Hammer, an extension pack for the highly successful Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis that has sold in excess of 500,000 copies.
The game will allow players to switch allegiance to the soviet side and join the revolution. Playing as Dmitri Lukin, a tough Soviet career soldier - a highly trained professional killer but one who has suffered demotion in recent times. More ruthless and menacing than the raw American recruits, who populated the original game, Dmitri starts as a grunt as the invasion of Everon Island begins.
Initially you'll have to escort General Guba's aide Angelina and fight your way out when ambushed by Resistance forces. During the subsequent invasion of Malden Island, Dmitri finds himself cut off, behind enemy lines.
Codemasters are promising 20 new levels a new lead character, new Russian-accent voices and fresh cut scenes that unravel the single-player narrative.
The pack is set to be released in the UK during December for the very attractive sum of £9.99. This can either be purchased as a box-set or downloaded from www.codemasters.com.
