First details of the Issue 11 update to City of Heroes/Villains is released by NCsoft...


NCsoft has today revealed the first details of Issue 11, the next update to the superhero MMO, City of Heroes/City of Villains. Entitled 'A Stitch in Time', the update will see players return to Paragon City's past in a bid to stop the Circle of Thorns from endangering the metropolis - an event that first occurred in the City of Heroes comic book.

Given the ability to travel back through time by the mysterious Menders of Ouroboros, players will also be given the chance to take part in Lord Recluse's initial attack on the city, and play through missions they might have missed the first time around.

Issue 11 will also see expanded weapons customisation, along with new power sets (Dual Blades and Willpower), and new inventions.

A Stitch in Time is due for release before the end of the year.

If a Brute can have Energy Melee, i don't understand why scrappers cannot. i will say though that fire shield with spines will be nasty for PvE, but i prefer PvP. Meh Corrupters getting Storm and Controllers getting Themal is good though

... i wanted EM scrappers, /cold controllers, elec tanks, regen brutes, BS/invun stalkers, lol makes sence not to have most of thoses, EM scrappers :P lawl... but i wanted the cold controller more then anything

This is just another screw over for villains tbh. I am a pvp'r at heart andtosay. The heroes do get itall. Villains are good atpvp but its a lotharder for villains than it is for heroes. Blasters just own anything and if the new VEAT's are a conter-... [ Read full comment... ]
