Players design their villain using a similar innovative character creation system as in City of Heroes, with billions of different size, color and styling options. Players then work their way up the ladder of a villain organization in order to gain super powers. Once endowed with super abilities, players enter Paragon City and begin their own reign of terror.

NCsoft's superhero MMO receives its latest update as TVG joins forces with the publisher to offer 3000 free trial serial codes...

NCsoft Europe has today released the eighth update to the superhero MMO, City of Heroes/City of Villains, called "To Protect and Serve". The latest 'issue' set in the world of Paragon City features new time-based Safeguard Missions, as well as the Veteran Reward Scheme, and a 'revitalised' Faultline Zone.

"Issue 8 continues to build on a great game, giving players new adventures, areas to explore and rewards for their loyalty," said Matt Miller, Cryptic Studio's lead designer for City of Heroes and City of Villains. "The action of the new Safeguard Missions is amazing and gives players a way to really feel heroic, which is one of the keys to why City of Heroes has been so successful."

The release of Issue #8 comes as TVG and NCsoft Europe team up to giveaway 3000 Serial Keys for a free fourteen-day trial of the MMO. You can get your code here.

They still won't learn though. They talk about bonuses, but still won't say what the bonuses are. So the bonus will be :Slight increase to Accuracy.
What is slight? 2%? 5%? And for that matter, what was Accuracy in the first place?
