Eidos release specific details on the last Champ Man game from Sports Interactive...
Eidos Interactive today announced the last âChampionship Managerâ title to be developed for them by Sports Interactive, after the acrimonious split between the two firms.
Alongside the most recent transfer signings and updated data (good news for Chelsea fans), âChampionship Manager 03/04' will thankfully contain a host of improvements to the bugged CM4.
Most notably the overly-complex training system has been redesigned, and is now handled on a single, clearly designed screen. CM fans will also welcome the return of the pre-game database editor, allowing players to keep all season data updated as and when it happens.
In addition Sports Interactive have been busy working on the match engine, which will now incorporate more commentary, better AI, weather effects and a host of visual status indicators.
Eidos are promising that the media section has been enhanced with more frequent and informative feedback, whilst Sports Interactive have included player-to-player relations that in turn affect their morale.
Finally new leagues, improved scout reports and injury news joins Goal of the Month and season awards.
âChampionship Manager 03/04â is scheduled for release in November and will be the last Sports Interactive developed title to bear the name; weâll have more information soon.
