Gusto Games strongly hints to TVG that Champ Man may jump the platform gap in the near future...
We donât like to blow our trumpets too often here in TVG Towers, but weâre quite keen eyed, which is why when we were looking over our Q&A answers from Championship Manager 5 (Xbox & PS2) developers Gusto Games we were quite surprised to come across the following reply from their MC Simon Phillips:
âMore and more consoles are getting connected as we speak, especially the wireless portable ones (!!), and hopefully within the next year there will be enough players to do some really cool stuff with Champ.â
The reply follows our question regarding the online features of the Champ Man games, and we can honestly say that this was one answer that we didnât expect!
So could the complexities of Champ Man transfer successfully to the PSP for instance? Imagine if you will the day that you and other PSP owners play Champ Man Online via Wi-Fiâ¦a day when you can get up to the minute transfer dealings just by going to a Wi-Fi hot spot or even compete in online tournaments against people in your Manager List. Imagine the endless insomnia that football manager titles currently impose extending into vacations and journeysâ¦
Weâll have more information on any handheld versions of Champ Man as soon as it breaks...
