Capcom announce Resident Evil: Gun Survivor 4 News

It doesn’t seem likely that Capcom will let this series go, as we uncover the first screens and details of the next one.
Although they havenāt found the correct formula yet, Capcom seem intent on trying and trying until they perfect the Gun Survivor series. Gun Survivor 4 returns to the Resident Evil franchise after a brief stint in the Dino Crisis world.
Itās known that the game has changed significantly from previous titles in the series, instead of controlling the character in a first-person-perspective, the view now switches third-person and first-person for walking and shooting. Hopefully this will eliminate the main criticism levelled at the series; that FPS controls donāt gel with a light-gun action.
These are the first screens released from Capcom, and clearly show a new character to the Resident Evil fold. The story tells of a person that has stolen a vial of the T-Virus from the Umbrella Paris division; boarding a boat to cross the Atlantic, you have to chase after him to rescue it, only arriving to find virtually everyone aboard has been turned into a zombie.
