Capcom confirm a European release for its latest psychological adventure game for the Playstation2...

Capcom today confirmed an early 2004 European release for âGlass Roseâ, a gripping, psychological adventure game for the Playstation2.

The game places playersâ as Takasi Kagetani, a rookie reporter who awakes to find himself on the floor of a strange house some seventy years in the past. Previously Takasi was investigating an unsolved murder case, providing the only clue to his whereabouts.

Takasi must now embark on a new quest to answer his questions, and hopefully return back to his own time. However the transition hasnât been entirely unfavourable to Takasi, as he realises that it has left him with a special ability â“ the power to read a personâs mind. This power is crucial to Takasi if he is to discover the difference between fact and fiction.

In keeping with the âOnimushaâ series, âGlass Roseâ casts a famous Japanese musician and actor in the lead role. Masahiro Matsuoka provided his likeness, motion and voice for use in the game, and is best known for his drumming skills in the pop sensation Tokio.

Weâll have more details soon.
