Dante faces off against his twin brother in the latest Devil May Cry…
Although previously been reported in Famitsu, Capcom today officially confirmed the existence of Devil May Cry 3 in the West.
As previously reported, Devil May Cry 3 takes Dante back a few years to an earlier chapter in his history, before the original Devil May Cry; back to a time when Dante clashes with his twin brother Virgil, a fellow descendant of Sparda and consumed by the same dark power upheld by the legacy of his sinister ancestors.
Along the way, Dante encounters formidable foes and unusual characters, including a mysterious man named Arkham and a female hunter named Lady, whose mission is to take down all Demons including Dante. The events throughout the game will reveal the complex roots of Dante and reveal insights into his clouded past.
Introducing a new âstyleâ system to the fast-paced action that we expect from a Devil May Cry title, players can now opt to use a variety of fighting styles ranging from short-range, long-range, defensive or evasive; each brining their own moves and techniques, which can be powered up as you progress through the game.
