Capcom Announces Streetfighter Controller News

Specifically designed for all the forthcoming Streetfighter titles set for release…
With the forthcoming release of Hyper Streetfighter II and the recently announced Capcom Fighting Evolution, itâs fair to say that Streetfighter will once again be in the spotlight.
To commemorate the monumental gaming series, Capcom today announced an agreement with NubyTech to manufacture a series of special limited edition controllers for the Playstation2.
Displayed in prototype form at the recent E3 event in Los Angeles, the controller is scheduled for release in both North America and Europe on July 27th. The complete design change results in a pad custom suited to the SF series; featuring six predominantly placed buttons to ensure that no more diabolical âEOâ control systems are featured, weâre hoping that the pad will be at least as worthy as the mighty revamped SEGA Saturn pad, which undeniably ruled supreme for Capcom fighters back in the day.
NubyTech also confirmed plans to release a Streetfighter Anniversary Edition Arcade Stick along with supporting the release of Streetfighter Anniversary Collection for the Xbox with an arcade stick and controller.
