Capcom announce what all Streetfighter fans have ever wanted, the ultimate SFII compilation...
In preparation for the forthcoming Tokyo Game Show, Capcom have lifted the lids on the heavily rumoured âStreetfighter IIâ title.
To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Streetfighter, Capcom will release âHyper Streetfighter IIâ on the Playstation2.
Instead of a mere compilation Capcom are going to town with this title that promises to be the ultimate dream for any deserving Streetfighter fan. âHyper Streetfighter IIâ will combine all the different versions of Streetfighter II into one game.
Using the character models from âSuper Streetfighter II Turboâ (the last game to bear the name), itâs possible to choose from any variation of the characters so players who fight with Ken will be able to use his original incarnation before his moves were downgraded.
The game will also contain a gallery containing artwork and sequences from all of the games. Itâs also been claimed that the game will ship with a strategy DVD outlining all of the different techniques and combos mastered in the series.
âHyper Streetfighter II Turboâ is scheduled for a Japanese release in December; being SF2 fanatics we canât wait to find out more on this title.
