2003 looks to be the year of Karaoke as Datel announce a title to join SCEE and Konami's...
With the announcement of SCEEâs âSingâ and Konamiâs âKaraoke Stageâ for the Playstation2, Karaoke certainly looks likely to be the next âbig-thingâ later in the year.
However Datel look likely to getting the drop on both of these with the announcement of âKaraoke Partyâ for the Playstation2.
Scheduled for release in September, the âgameâ features over 20 songs that have been made famous by some of the worldâs top op and rock talents, including Justin Timberlake, Kylie, Pink, Britney Spears and many more.
The game comes complete with two headsets, allowing you to go solo or perform a duet. Each headset features a high-quality microphone and allows you to monitor your singing, presumably in the hope of making you realise how bad you are before unleashing it upon everybody else.
Using Karaoke Partyâs fully portable audio mixer unit, you can even fine-tune your performance with the same sophisticated echo/reverb effect that professional singers rely on.
