Activision confirms the release of CoD2 patch pushing out the cheaters and introducing two new maps...
Call of Duty fans can finally celebrate the release of the long-awaited patch, introducing PunkBuster anti-cheat software, along with two new multiplayer maps. In the coming weeks Infinity Ward will also provide MOD tools to open up the game towards the community, providing the scope for fans to create their own single-player and multiplayer maps.
"We're excited to deliver today's PC download to our ardent Call of Duty 2 fans," said Grant Collier, president, Infinity Ward. "We recognize the level of enthusiasm that our fans have for the Call of Duty 2 experience, which is why it's important to us to continue providing the content and tools that continue to deliver the type of Call of Duty action gamers crave."
The PC Patch download is currently available at http://www.callofduty2.com/patch/.
