Handheld debut for the World War II franchise coming in Spring 2007; Activision promises all-new gameplay experience...
With Electronic Arts set to launch long-running World War II franchise Medal of Honor on PSP in November, Activision has today released details of its plans to take Call of Duty to the handheld too.
Coming to a Sony handheld near you in Spring 2007, Call of Duty: Roads to Victory will see players follow in the footsteps of three Allied soldiers, a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne, a Canadian First Army Infantryman, and a British Parachuting Regiment Commando, as they battle through a new campaign of 13 missions in enemy-held Europe.
Built from the ground up, Roads to Victory will feature four different control systems improving the chance of players finding one that suits them (something that PSP titles have on occasion struggled to find), as well as Multiplayer action for up to six gamers with gametypes including Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and King of the Hill.
We'll have more news shortly...
