Sony's Buzz! quiz game travels to the PSP for the first time with a range of new features...
Fingers on buzzers... Which quiz-tastic videogame introduced the buzzer peripheral? It's Buzz! of course, and Sony has announced that the spiky haired quiz show host will soon make his first appearance on the PSP this coming spring.
Six new round types are set to grace Sony's handheld, including the Picture This round where players choose which part of a picture their challengers will see for a question. There's also the Virus Challenge round that bamboozles players with deceptive images, and the Quickfire Challenge (which is fairly self explanatory).
The multiplayer modes have been designed specifically for the PSP, with up to 6 players able to compete. There's the suitably named Pass Around mode (where you can chose which player you want to pass a question to), the Quiz Host Mode that allows one player to play the role of host, while game sharing for up to 4 players makes Buzz's traditional fastest-finger-fast gameplay possible.
Set to include 5,000 questions and 1,000 images/videos, Buzz! on PSP will offer a wide range of trivia on music, movies, celebrities, science, TV, sport, nature and general knowledge.
TVG is hoping that Jason Donovan will return to the helm as Buzz once again.
