Burnout Paradise 'Cagney' Update Delayed Again On 360 News

The Xbox 360 version of Criterion's 'Cagney' update for Burnout Paradise has suffered more setbacks...

While the PlayStation 3 'Cagney' update for Burnout Paradise was released on July 10th, the Xbox 360 version has been delayed again until August 4th (at the earliest) having originally been setback until July 24th.

Criterion initially went back to the drawing board on the Xbox 360 update after Microsoft spotted some bugs in the code, leading to an estimated delay of about a fortnight. That projected delay has now been pushed back even further to August 4th at the earliest, with Criterion stating, "We're in the final stages of testing the revised version and will announce a concrete date as soon as we have one."

'Cagney' is the most expansive update to Burnout Paradise to date. It brings Stunt Run, Marked Man, and Road Rage race events to the online multiplayer for the first time, while also offering a couple of new vehicles and 70 new Freeburn challenges. What's more, the update is completely free of charge! We salute you, Criterion.

the reason the 360 gets update firstis unlike the ps3 with its free online play 360 owners pay for the service and in return we get the updates first (most of the updates require payment of ms points where as the ps3 versions are of a higher cost as ... [ Read full comment... ]
