Burnout was one of the most original games created on the PlayStation 2 to date. The fast paced action saw gamers hurtling round corners at speeds only seen in the blockbuster Hollywood movies.
With the success of the first games, Criterion the developers behind the franchise decided to start work straight away on the sequel. Today we can reveal a batch of new screens from the latest build of the game, clearly depicting a similarity to the hit film The Fast & The Furious.
The sequel will offer more of the same, with the added bonus of a better damage system allowing body parts to fly across the screen, new levels, faster and better cars and a totally enhanced game engine.
