Bungie Releases First Update To Halo 3 News

Frequency of Shotty Snipers reduced (yay!) along with a boost to player numbers in Big Team Battle...
Just two weeks after Bungie asked us to Believe and Finish the Fight, the newly independent studio has released the first update to Halo 3's Matchmaking Playlists.
Described as the first release in the ever-changing world of Halo playlists, Bungie confirmed that the frequency of the Shotty Snipers gametype has been 'greatly reduced', and that a vetoed match of the mode would not be followed by...another game of Shotty Snipers.
Additionally, the number of players in Big Team Battles has been increased to sixteen, along with a waypoint locating the target in one-sided matches of VIP. Lone Wolves will also find themselves thrown into more Slayer matches than previously.
Expect further updates in the coming weeks and months as Bungie further refines and adds to the Halo 3 playlists.
