More on this gameBungie's long-awaited debut of the Halo 3 expansion teaser may have kept Master Chief fans on the edge of their seat, however those with a keen-eye may have spotted an unfortunately phrased message contained within the footage.
The line, 'Maddie, Where Are You?' appears briefly, bringing regrettable comparisons to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.
Bungie has commented on the message and claimed, "Any similarities between real life and the characters in our games are purely coincidental", and stating the reference is "both an unfortunate and unntended [sic] coincidence".
TVG contacted Microsoft for a response but has yet to receive an official comment on the subject.
