Bungie Confirms Global Beta For Halo 3 News

With suggestions that that the Halo 3 Beta next year will be for North American gamers only, Bungie confirms otherwise...
Earlier in the day, Microsoft and Bungie released a screen taken from the forthcoming CG Halo 3 trailer, which will air at 2:15am GMT on December 5th on Xbox.com - a version will also be released on Xbox Live Marketplace in 720p.
In a statement originating from the US, confirmation of the impending pre-rendered teaser was accompanied with a line about how US gamers will be able to take part in a Beta test of the title in Spring 2007. No mention was made in the statement about gamers outside of the US of A - leaving many bewildered that perhaps Microsoft were being a tad US-centric...
In response, Bungie has now confirmed that the Beta will be available globally in 2007 - though specific details on when the test will take place remains under wraps for now.
