Boxed Copies Of Prey For Triton Gamers News

2K Games confirms that replacement boxed copies of the FPS will be sent automatically to those stuck following the Triton collapse...
Earlier in the week news broke that the digital download service used by 3D Realms in the online distribution of its FPS Prey, had gone offline. The Triton service was closed following the bankruptcy of its parent company, Digital Interactive Streams, and left many gamers who'd bought the game from the service unable to play it.
Today, Prey publisher 2K Games confirmed that gamers languishing in Prey purgatory (those who bought the game via Triton) would be receiving a boxed copy of the title through the post. The process will be done automatically, with the game sent to the address of the Credit Card holder.
So good news has been announced, and the unfortunate situation will be rectified shortly...just in time to play the new multiplayer maps released earlier today!
