Music Label CEO becomes top man at Atari Inc. as Bonnell continues in Creative and Chairman roles…
Musical chairs has hit the top team at Atari in the last couple of days with the news that Bruno Bonnell has stepped aside from the role of CEO, leaving Board Member and former CEO at three music labels James Caparro to become the new Chief Exec.
Commenting on his successor, Bonnell stated that, "Jim's track record is impeccable⦠and we are thrilled to have an executive of his calibre and reputation leading Atari."
Bonnell continues in his role as Chief Creative Officer and Chairman of the company, as well as retaining his role as CEO and Chairman of Atari parent company, Infogrames Entertainment, where he is to focus on creating "the next stages of technological advancement in gaming.â
