Blizzard Clarifies WoW Honor System News

Strong PvP performances lead to lucrative rewards in the Honor System integrated into World of Warcraft...

Now into its first few weeks of implementation, Blizzard Entertainment has released a new micro-site that helps to clarify the Honor System in World of Warcraft, which rewards players who accomplish strong PvP performances with weapons, armour, battle standards, and more.

By defeating players of an opposing faction or killing Racial Leader NPCs (commanders of major cities), gamers gain contribution points with the number of point gained directly linked to the levels and ranks of those vanquished; the Honor Ranking is then calculated at the end of the week.

Blizzard has been quick to point out that since most of the players on WoW are casual gamers, they will be spending most of their time battling it out with gamers of a similar skill and rank â“ therefore players may be surprised at how high up they get in the ranks.

Either way, it won't be long before we find out if our Mages, Warriors, and Draenei will have to pack for arctic conditions... that sounds so stupid... draenies suck n they r a race not a class

Wow is designed in such a manner that you HAVE to commit immense number of hours into the game in order to actually achieve anythuing. All the items you will get in drops will be 2-5 levels lower. The game is designed in codepency and farming tons of... [ Read full comment... ]

It's silly to call one MMO is better than another. They are all designed to target different market shares and niches. Thats like going to a women's shoestore and complaining that their are no boots. It is not the stores fault, it is yours.
