Artoon announce a sequel to the hit-and-miss Xbox platformer.
Despite not being the killer-app title that many had hoped for, Artoon today confirmed that a sequel to Blinx is on its way to the Xbox.
Blinx: The Time Sweeper is one of the few titles to make innovative use of the Xbox hard-drive allowing you to actually manipulate time. Unfortunately the generic platform gameplay destroyed any of the innovative touches that Blinx displays. Hopefully the idea will be fully realised in the sequel, planned for release in Q4 2003.
Artoon also confirmed that an action/RPG is currently in development for the Xbox, and will be similar to KOEIâs Dynasty Warrior series.
Hopefully weâll have more information and a full-review of Blinx: The Timesweeper soon.
