2K Games announces a European release date for the Cult of Rapture...


2K Games has today confirmed that Bioshock will be release across Europe from August 24th on Xbox 360 and PC.

Developed by Irrational Games, the FPS is one of the anticipated releases for 2007, and sees players explore the strange world of Rapture, a city built under the ocean.

The publisher has also announced a release date for North America; gamers across the Atlantic will be getting to grips with the title from August 21st.

I'm as hyped for this movie as the Halo movie, but I hope they go into detail about Rapture before Fontaine, as well as somehow show both endings. (Plot twist for me was a bit predictable.)

I haven't finished bioshock yet, but from what I have played of it, this game rocks!!! I figure I have about an hour or so of game to go, and so far so good. The variety of plasmids & weapons is great, no complaints here. It does make me wonder, ... [ Read full comment... ]
