SEGA and Sports Interactive grant you the chance to appear in the forthcoming Football Manager 2005â¦
SEGA and Sports Interactive today announced a chance for Football Manager fans to feature as an actual player within the forthcoming Football Manager 2005.
One of the features that sets Football Manager 2005 out from the crowd is the introduction of thumbnail pictures for some of the players and staff. Naturally as time progresses and player retire, the database evolves and replaces real players with fictionally regenerated players; and today you can win a chance to become one of these players.
To be a âFace in the Gameâ simply submit a digital photo of yourself, along with optionally providing additional data about yourself (age, name, favourite club, etc) so that Sports Interactive can add depth to your digital persona.
To enter simply visit www.sigames.com/faceinthegame to ensure your chance of being a âFace in the Gameâ.
"Right from the very beginning, we've encouraged our fans to get involved with the game and many of them have," says Miles Jacobson, Managing Director of Sports Interactive. "Now, all players of our games, and future players, have got the perfect way to get more involved with the game and be a part of it."
Guidelines
There are a few restrictions as to the style of photos which will be acceptable: the shots should not contain any team colours, for example. Also, as regenerated players are usually aged between 18 and 22, only photos which represent people within that age range will be used to depict players. All other photos supplied will be used to represent either coaches or physios.
