EA announces two new booster packs for the Battlefield sequel...
Electronic Arts has today announced two new booster packs for Battlefield 2, which will be available via the company's Downloader site from February 8th.
Battlefield 2: Euro Force with feature three new maps (Operation Smoke Screen, The Great Wall of China, and Taraba Quarry) and introduce the European Forces for the first time in Battlefield as they fight against MEC and Chinese forces.
March 24th will see the release of Battlefield 2: Armored Fury, which will also include three new maps (Midnight Sun, Operation Road Rage, and Operation Harvest) and takes place across the US as American forces try to hold back MEC and Chinese armies. Armored Fury will also feature two new vehicles, an Attack Jet that will enable cluster bombs and rocket pods, and a Scout Chopper, which will help player identify enemy forces.
Each of the booster packs will cost $9.99 in the US and £5.99 in the UK. We'll have more news shortly...
