Further details are confirmed for the forthcoming rapid-fire PSP urban themed title...
Following its announcement last week, Atari has today announced further details on the PSP title, Hot PXL. Set for release during the 2006 Christmas period, the zSlide developed title will see players play through over 200 micro-games all themed around pixels and urban environments. Besides the single-player Story Mode, Atari has said that Hot PXL may also include two multiplayer modes, the Mega Party Mode and the Vs. Mode, which Atari say will encourage "Social Gaming"...if they make the final game.
Further support for the game is to be offered post-release with the promise of more micro-games being made available to download, together with HOTPXL.com, which will enable players to manage bonus content between their PSP and PC.
With the game taking such an urban visual style, Atari has confirmed a hip-hop and electro-pop heavy soundtrack although exact track listings are yet to be made by the publisher.
We'll have more on Hot PXL shortly...
