PC version gets four new investigations to make up for the wait...
Having to sit and wait patiently for Assassin's Creed to hit the PC, Ubisoft today confirmed that PC gamers will at least have something to make the wait worthwhile with the announcement of Assassin's Creed: Director's Cut.
Promising the substantial inclusion of four new types of investigations, joining the likes of Eavesdropping, Pickpocketing and Intimidation, TVG hopes that the PC version will realise the potential more so than its disappointing console outing (yes we know it's sold a gazillion copies, but so did Phantom Menace).
"We are thrilled to bring Assassin's Creed to an eager PC audience and we anticipate the game will resonate with them just has it has across the other platforms," said John Parkes, EMEA Marketing Director at Ubisoft. "Assassin's Creed is a game that must be experienced firsthand to fully understand how dynamic and meaningful this title has become for video game fans worldwide."
