Atari releases details of the videogame adaptation of Luc Besson's animation...
Set for release on a number of platforms during November 2006 (PlayStation2, PSP, Nintendo DS, GameBoy Advance, and PC), Atari has today revealed a little more detail surrounding the videogame adaptation of Luc Besson's forthcoming animation and book series, Arthur & The Minimoys.
Using the powers of the three main characters, Arthur, Selenia and Bétamèche, the adventure game roughly follows the story of the movie. Each of the three will have their own specific power with players having to work how to use them in order to solve the various puzzles in the gameworld. In the movie, Arthur sets out along with his two friends to stop the destruction of the Minimoy's world.
If the movie becomes the latest 'Belleville Rendezvous' and acquires an appeal not just in native France, then Atari's title could do well - although we'll just have to see later in the year when the film is released.
