Financial analysts raise share price of Apple ahead of alleged agreement with Sony...
Reports of an alleged relationship have today begun to circulate regarding an affiliation between Apple and the STI Group (Sony, Toshiba, IBM), with regards to the Mac and iPod creator utilising the CELL processor in future products.
Financial analysts raised the share-price of Apple ahead of a proposed announcement, with the suggestion being that a partnership could bring an iTunes styled service for movies on demand, a high-performance Apple/Sony workstation or a CELL embedded TV.
Given the success of Appleās iTunes service compared to the poorly received Connect service from Sony, itās reported that both firms share mutual respect for each other and an alliance would help to usher in the next level of Home Entertainment.
